Adobe Captivate 2: good stuff

A long-awaited day has arrived. What better way to celebrate my birthday today (Sept. 6) -- Adobe has released Captivate version 2. I was part of the pre-release testing and advisory team, and got to see the product evolve from the former RoboDemo and Captivate 1.0 days.

For creating software simulations, demos, interactive quizzes and more -- Captivate 2.0 is definitely a champion (Camtasia, sorry...you just didn't make the cut). There's great Flash integration, more use of Flash video than ever, a better interface, and a few more bells and whistles. Good stuff for anyone who deals with e-learning, online training, or just "having to present something quickly without a lot of intermediate work."

Way to go, Adobe!
