Boundary Waters trip

Talk about bee-yoo-tee-ful...I had a great time with a group from Scouts including my 16-year-old son and some of his peers to the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness Area (BWCWA) also known as the Northern Tier (www.ntier.org). We covered over 75 miles in 8 days -- by canoe and portage. I am relaxed, tanned, bearded, and exhausted all at the same time.

Check out the photostream at Flickr for some great shots...

Adobe CS3 Master Collection...rocks!

Hoooboy...the Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection is out, and I may never see the light of day again (other than the glow of phosph...uh, pix...um, transistors? Whatever LCDs put off nowadays).

This is the big kahuna...all Adobe products (except Lightroom, Captivate and RoboHelp) rolled into one giant mass of shiny, colorful, creative goodness.

I got to attend the Adobe CS3 rollout party at the National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas in April, and I knew this week would eventually arrive. It's a natural extension of all that Adobe is known for, and then some.

Tuesday night the KCDevCore group had a great piece of training by Adobe's Kevin Hoyt who demonstrated Flexbuilder 3 and the newly-named AIR (formerly Apollo) stuff. We all dragged our notebooks into the Sprint campus training center and I got a good introduction to how Flex will change our lives.

Pretty amazing stuff coming out of San Jose nowadays. I'm stoked about upcoming projects for the next few months and all this Adobe sweetness loading up my hard drive!
